Are you tired of so-called 'coaches' telling you to "macro"? We've all been there. Telling a player to 'macro better,' is pretty much just telling him to play better, which is NOT very helpful. It would be like coaching a track team, sitting on the sidelines, and then telling them to just 'run faster.' It's such bland advice that it fails to actually be advice. It's a slightly nicer way to say 'learn to play,' nothing more.
WeCastSC2 Coaching is a service dedicated to helping YOU improve at Starcraft 2. Whether you are Wood, Plastic, Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum, we firmly believe that you can get to Diamond/Masters with our help. Who are we? We are a team of dedicated SC2 coaches who simply want to share our knowledge with the Starcraft 2 community. So what are you waiting for? Sign up for a coaching session today!
Here at WeCastSC2, lessons are specifically tailored towards each unique individual. Expect us to question your game decisions, and you bet we're going to go in depth on scouting, macro, and solidifying your game plan. Lessons are streamed live on twitch.tv and uploaded onto our youtube channel. We will work on nailing down anything between a single specific matchup, to a complete overhaul in gameplay and decision making. Breaking down your play into bite size chunks that you can easily work on, with the intent and goal of making you into a lean and mean Starcraft 2 machine. (You don't actually have to be mean if you don't want to.)
Even experienced players have dozens if not hundreds they make every game, and we will point out of all your mistakes while doing our absolute best to help eliminate these nuisances to your play and help you step up your game. We will break down your replay and coach you on aspects that need working on; building on your current strengths while slowly cutting out your shortcomings. We want to help YOU improve, and you bet we'll be there when you hit Masters.
What to expect:
Each new student is sent a survey to determine what areas he or she is struggling with most. This doesn't need to take up much time, but we need to get a sense for your strengths and weaknesses so that I can quickly point out problem areas and offer solutions. In this step, you are encouraged to ask any questions you might initially have, and request build orders or replays to view before the lesson if you would like. Do not be nervous about your skill level or any weaknesses you feel you have any.
Once you have completed the survey explaining your skill level and goals, we will develop a tentative plan for how the lesson will go and run it by you. You are welcome to offer suggestions on how we spend our time together, and we'll work to take advantage of your strong areas and develop your weak areas.
Walking you through a custom game, we'll first guide you in-game through your build as well as the essential mechanics and fundamentals. After the game, we'll discuss which areas and mechanics are the most important for you to focus on.
Next, we'll play games against actual opponents and train your multitasking and decision-making. It is challenging to listen and play at the same time, but you find it rewarding in the end when you're experiencing improved hand speed and decision-making.
